Third Grade2018-12-14T22:12:45+00:00

I graduated from Gulf High School in 1977.  I attended Pasco-Hernando Community College for my first two years, getting my A.A. in 1979. I took a year off to work full time, and then transferred to the University of South Florida.  I earned my B.A. in 1981, and then started graduate school.  I received my Master’s degree from USF in 1983.

After graduate school, I worked up in Salem, Virginia at Roanoke College in the Upward Bound program. When that ended, I returned to Florida, where I started volunteering at Genesis, and then became a full time substitute in 1984. I was offered my own Third Grade class in December of 1984.

I am beginning my 35th year at Genesis.  Except for a two-year period, when I taught Middle School Math and Science at Genesis Preparatory School, I have been a Third Grade teacher at Genesis.  I love teaching and spending time with my friends and family!

Congratulations on a job well done on this year’s Science Projects!  You have worked hard!
