GENESIS ELEMENTARY PARENT GROUP
On behalf of the Genesis Parent Group (GPG), we would like to extend a warm welcome to all new and returning students and their families. In order to make this the most exciting and eventful year ever for our children, we need your help! Imagine how proud your child will be to see you involved in his/her school. Provided below is a brief description of the events and programs that require parent volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact the school.
Genesis Parent Group is also responsible for several functions held at school, such as the Fall Festival and Teacher Appreciation Week. We have found that, in the past, parents feel most comfortable giving a one-time donation, rather than having us ask for funds throughout the year. This donation is then used for events mentioned as well as a year-end gift for the school as funds permit. The donation requested is $25/student. We appreciate your help because these donations are our only source of funding.

OPPORTUNITIES TO SERVE
Help organize and recruit parents for events, programs, and activities; Assist teacher with class activities like field trip and holiday parties
Set up, replenish, and clean up refreshments for special occasions
Assist children as they select their wish list items and purchases
Assist with set up, food service, games, and clean up
Teacher Appreciation Week
Provide food, help set up, decorate and serve meals to teachers
