Miss Jaenichen is originally from Clarkston, Michigan, and moved to Florida in 1993. She graduated from The University of South Florida with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Miss Jaenichen began her teaching career at Genesis in 2000 as a Pre-K II teacher at the West Campus. There she went on to teach Second Grade until transferring to the East Campus in 2014 to teach Fourth Grade.
WHAT’S HAPPENING IN 4TH GRADE
This is our last week before Winter Break! The students will be reviewing concepts that were recently introduced in Math. We will be reading a story from our reading book, as well a spelling/vocabulary list, but there will not be any tests given. I hope everyone has a wonderful break and a joyous New Year!
This week the students will be practicing long division.
This week we will be finishing our unit on verbs.
We will be reading a historical fiction selection this week entitled “Fiona’s Lace”.
We will be reviewing the words from the story and spelling list #15.
The class will be presenting their science fair projects this week.
We will be reading and learning about the events that started the American Revolution.
