Music & The Arts

At Genesis, we recognize that a well-rounded education includes exposure to the arts. Our Music and Arts Department are an integral part of our curriculum. Preschool students attend music once a week, and elementary students receive musical instruction twice a week. Our students take part in several performances and plays, including a special holiday play each December in Sims Park.  Art is incorporated into our preschool curriculum, with most art projects centering around the letter of the week, the season, or a holiday. Our elementary students attend art classes once a week, and projects include sculpture, oil painting, watercolors, pastels, pen and ink drawing, and more.
