   Mrs. Wagner's Class

The Week of September 6-September 10, 2010

The students learned about Latitude and Longitude lines and we are finished with Chapter 1 in Social Studies this week! Lots of reviewing and the Chapter 1 Test will be this week!

In English, we are concentrating on Unit 3: Verbs. We will focus on helping verbs.

In Math, we learned about place value and will be expanding their knowledge by learning the concept of place value with decimals.

With Reading, there will be an open-book test since it is a short week. We will finish up the story with the Movie of “Sarah, Plain and Tall.” It’s one of my favorites!

Spelling: There will NOT be a Spelling test this week. We are having a Social Studies test on Friday instead. Thank you.

The kids have been working really hard these first few weeks of school. Getting back into routine is tough and they are doing great!
