Class News: 

This year has sneaked by us. I can’t believe it is the end of the year! Yet, we still have lots of work ahead of us. We will be completing our reader and workbook. We will also be working in small literature groups. Semester assessments in all subject areas will also be administered orally and in written form to check for mastery of concepts.

 

Our classroom will represent the country of Israel in the Holidays Around the World Fair. We will learn about Hanukkah and traditions associated with this holiday. A BIG thank you to Mrs. Freeman for letting us borrow objects for our fair.

 

Thank you to all the parents that helped chaperone our Lowry Park field trip. Thank you to all the students for an Oscar-winning Thanksgiving performance. Please, if you took pictures of this/other events save them to a disk and drop them off at the school office. We would LOVE to have various event pictures in our school yearbook.

 

Finally, during the next couple of weeks students will be working on their Holiday Community Project. A packet was sent home with directions and samples. The project is due Monday, December 15^th. There will be a presentation for parents and other family members on Friday, December 19^th at 9:15 a.m.
